Why other Notion calendar widgets fall short

Always out of sync

Widgets that take hours to update (or never refresh at all).

Zero customization

One boring look. No themes, no layouts, nothing that feels like Notion.

Unsupported & unreliable

Tools that look abandoned - no updates, and nowhere to turn when something breaks.

Viewday fixes all of this - with real-time sync, beautiful customizations, and rock-solid reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Viewday?

Viewday is a premium Google Calendar widget for Notion. With Viewday, you can embed your Google Calendar directly into Notion, merge multiple calendars (even from different Google accounts), and customize layouts like monthly, weekly, or agenda views. Unlike free Notion widgets, Viewday keeps your schedule in sync in real time, so you never need to refresh. It’s private, secure, and designed to look like it belongs in your Notion workspace.

How do I add Google Calendar to Notion?

Notion doesn’t offer a built-in Google Calendar integration. The only native way is to paste a public Google Calendar link into Notion’s /embed block - but this is limited, slow to update, and doesn’t work well for private calendars. That’s why people use Viewday. With Viewday, you can embed private or shared Google Calendars directly in Notion with real-time sync, custom layouts, and multi-calendar support - no hacks required.

Can I embed multiple Google calendars in Notion?

Yes! With Viewday, you can combine calendars from one or more Google accounts into a single unified view. This means you can manage personal and work schedules side by side - or, for teams and organizations, connect multiple accounts to create a shared calendar dashboard inside Notion. Everyone sees the same synced schedule, without switching between tabs.

Can I connect multiple Google accounts?

Yes - that’s what makes Viewday unique. With Pro+ and Team plans, you can connect calendars from multiple Google accounts into a single workspace and create unified views across accounts.

Does it update in real-time?

Absolutely. Unlike most free Notion widgets, Viewday syncs instantly. Add or edit an event in Google Calendar, and it shows up in Notion right away - no refresh required.

Will this slow down my Notion pages?

Not at all. Viewday embeds are optimized for speed and load seamlessly inside Notion without adding bloat.

Does Notion have a built-in Google Calendar integration?

Not directly. Notion’s native tools don’t sync with Google Calendar out of the box - you can only paste a public calendar link into an /embed block, which is limited and doesn’t work for private calendars. Viewday fixes this by giving you a true Google Calendar integration for Notion - private or shared calendars, merged views across accounts, and real-time sync without refreshes.

Do I need a paid plan to get started?

Not at all. You can use Viewday free forever with one calendar widget. Upgrade only if you want unlimited calendars, multi-calendar merge, customization, or team features.

Is my calendar data private?

Yes. Viewday is designed with privacy first. We only request read-only access to your Google Calendar and encrypt data in transit and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored securely, and no one on our team has access to your events. You can disconnect anytime and delete all cached data with one click.

Why do you request access to my Google Calendar data?

To power your calendar embed in Notion. Viewday only requests the minimum access needed to read event details (like title, time, and location) so your calendar stays up to date automatically. We never create, edit, or delete events.

What Google data do you store?

Only what’s needed to render the embed and sync reliably: event basics (start/end, all-day, title, description, location, last updated timestamp, color) and calendar metadata (e.g., name, color, your access role). We do not store your Google password. You can disconnect and delete all cached data anytime.

Can I revoke access and delete my data?

Yes. Disconnect your Google account in the dashboard to revoke access and remove tokens and cached events. You can also email security@viewday.app for help.
